Cinnamon Roll Munch Mix

If fall had a snack bowl, I’m pretty sure this would be it. šŸĀ Cinnamon, chocolate, buttery pretzels and crunchy cereal all tossed together into one ridiculously easy munch mix. Even better? It takes only about 5 minutes of hands-on timeĀ to get it into the oven.

As a Tastefully Simple Ambassador, I’m always finding recipes that make me think, Okay, I need to try that one.Ā Their Cinnamon Roll Munch MixĀ definitely made the list—and with fall officially arriving, this seemed like the perfect recipe to share.

It would be great for an after-school snack, football watching, a fall get-together, road trip snacks, or divided into little bags for an easy treat to give to friends and neighbors.

Cinnamon Roll Munch Mix

Recipe from Tastefully Simple

Makes:Ā 16 servingsPrep/active time:Ā 5 minutesTotal time:Ā 35 minutes

What You'll Need

  • 4 cups chocolate rice squares cereal, such as ChexĀ®

  • 4 cups mini pretzel twists

  • ¾ cup Tastefully Simple Cinnamon Roll Cocoa Mix, divided

  • ½ cup butter

  • ½ cup light brown sugar

How to Make It

Preheat your oven to 275°F and combine the cereal and pretzels in a large bowl.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter on HIGH for about 30–45 seconds, or until melted. Pour the melted butter over the cereal and pretzels and toss everything together until evenly coated.

Add ½ cup of the Cinnamon Roll Cocoa Mix along with the brown sugar and toss again.

Spread the mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined, rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, giving everything a stir halfway through.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup Cinnamon Roll Cocoa Mix over the warm mixture. Stir to coat and allow it to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container.

šŸ A Little Kim's Kitchen Idea

This would be SO cute packaged up for fall.

Fill little kraft paper treat bags or clear cellophane bags with the munch mix, tie them with orange or gingham ribbon, and add a little handwritten tag:

ā€œA little something sweet for fall. šŸ‚ā€

Instant neighbor gift, teacher treat, hostess gift—or keep the entire batch in your own kitchen. No judgment here. šŸ˜‚

The Ingredient That Makes It Different

The secret to this one is Tastefully Simple's Cinnamon Roll Cocoa Mix. It gives the snack that warm cinnamon-roll flavor without needing a cabinet full of different ingredients.
