Looking for a quick, adorable handmade Christmas gift that won't break the bank? I've got just the project for you! FREE PRINTABLE TUTORIAL BELOW

Welcome, Handmade Holiday Hop friends! 🌼

I'm so excited to share my newest little creation with you — the Little Pocket of Joy!

Sometimes the sweetest gifts come in the smallest packages, and this project is proof!

With just ONE 6" x 12" piece of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, you can create an adorable little accordion-style holder with FOUR pockets, ready to fill with treats, tea, tiny treasures, and lots of love!

And trust me, once you make one, you're going to want to make a whole bunch!

🎁 Four Little Pockets, Three Different Looks!

For my Christmas samples, I had so much fun playing with different papers, stamps, and embellishments.

I created three versions, including two adorable Christmas mice and a cocoa-loving bear who just makes me smile!

My favorite might be the little mouse wearing his Santa hat and holding a Christmas present. Isn't he just the cutest?

I used the Stampin' Up! Christmas Mice Stamps and Dies to create my mouse projects, along with the beautiful Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper.

A little White Textured Ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch!

The best part? The same basic design works with so many different papers and themes. Think birthdays, thank-you gifts, Valentine's Day, teacher appreciation, and more!

✂️ Let's Make a Little Pocket of Joy!

This project is surprisingly simple!

Start with a piece of Designer Series Paper measuring 6" x 12".

You'll score, fold, and create four little pockets, each approximately 2½" wide after adding adhesive.

I used my 1¾" Circle Punch to create a little half-moon opening along the top of each pocket. Not only does it look cute, but it also makes it easier to get those little goodies out!

Tear & Tape Adhesive holds everything together, and a pretty ribbon keeps the finished holder closed.

And don't worry about writing down all those measurements while watching the video...

I've created a FREE printable cutting and scoring guide just for you!

🍫 What Can You Put Inside?

Oh, the possibilities!

For my samples, I tucked in some yummy Ghirardelli Chocolates and delicious Stash Tea Bags.

These little pockets are perfect for:

  • 🍫 Individually wrapped chocolates

  • ☕ Tea bags or instant coffee packets

  • 🍬 Small wrapped candies

  • 🎄 Handmade gift tags

  • 💌 Little notes of encouragement

  • 🎁 Other small, flat surprises

Imagine giving one to a coworker with four different tea flavors, or surprising a friend with a few chocolates and a sweet handwritten note.

It's a thoughtful little gift that says, "I was thinking of you!"

And because they're so easy to make, you can create several in an afternoon.

🌼 A Little Gift, A Lot of Joy!

One of my favorite things about paper crafting is turning something as simple as a sheet of pretty paper into a thoughtful handmade gift.

It doesn't have to be expensive or complicated to make someone smile.

Sometimes a little chocolate, a warm cup of tea, and a handmade package are all it takes to brighten someone's day!

Now I'd love to hear from you!

If someone gave YOU a Little Pocket of Joy, what four surprises would you love to find inside?

Leave me a comment below. I might just get some new ideas from you!

Happy crafting!
